01. Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain (2001)
The traveling gnome was inspired by a rash of similar pranks played in England and France in the 1990s. In 1997, a French court convicted the leader of Front de Libération des Nains de Jardins (Garden Gnome Liberation Front) of stealing over 150 gnomes. The idea was later used in an advertising campaign for an Internet travel agency.

02. Pulp Fiction (1994)
In the diner when Mia orders her $5 shake, "Buddy Holly" (the waiter) asks her if she wants it "Martin and Lewis or Amos and Andy?" He is referring to two comedy duos - Martin and Lewis, two white men; Amos and Andy, two black men. Basically, he is asking her if she wants a vanilla shake or a chocolate shake. She has vanilla.
Did you know that? Well, I didn't :D

03. Chocolat (2000)
The scene where Alfred Molina (Comte Paul de Reynaud) eats the window display was shot on his last day of shooting in case he didn't feel well after eating all the chocolate. He didn't.

04. The Addams Family (1991)
Director Cameo: Barry Sonnenfeld is the passenger on the model train that a giant Gomez looks into the window and laughs at before the two model trains crash into each other.

05. The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
In his first meeting with Clarice Starling, Lecter describes the drawing on his cell wall as "the Duomo, seen from the Belvedere" in Florence, Italy. Starling later finds Buffalo Bill living in Belvedere, Ohio. Lecter, in fact, gives her Buffalo Bill's location in their first meeting.

06. Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)
Throughout the movie, the knights galloped--with their "bearers" clapping coconut halves together to simulate the noises of the horses' hooves--to pretend they were on horses. This was not, however, part of the original concept. Before filming began the budget was cut, and there was no money for renting horses.

07. Psycho (1960)
After the film's release Alfred Hitchcock received an angry letter from the father of a girl who refused to have a bath after seeing Les Diaboliques (1955) and now refused to shower after seeing this film. Hitchcock sent a note back simply saying, "Send her to the dry cleaners."

08. Music and Lyrics (2007)
In the original version Sophie (Barrymore) enters Alex's (Grant) apartment asking him if he has a watering pot and telling about the eighty year old German screaming at her. In the German dubbing this old man is French.

Anna Wintour, the formidable editor of Vogue, was not invited to the premiere. She did attend an advance screening for the press, dressed, head-to-toe, in Prada.

10. Star Wars IV: A New Hope (1977)
According to Mark Hamill, studio executives were unhappy that Chewbacca has no clothes and attempted to have the costume redesigned with shorts.
